Baby #5 inspires my ABS =)

It’s Tuesday and the big kids are back at school! I definitely used pregnancy as an excuse to over-indulge at Christmas New Year’s Eve. I told myself that I was not going to go hog wild with this baby; frankly, I’m tired of losing baby weight.  I’m taking measures into my own hands this time. A little self control with the night time cravings and a new idea….Phil and I love the TV show “Criminal Minds”. We DVR it so we can watch it once the kids have gone to sleep. Last week we decided to walk briskly while we watch. I’ve done the Leslie Samsone walking fitness videos on and off since my first trimester, but nausea gave me a good excuse to totally flake out. Second trimester was just me being lazy =) But, I am renewed by the New Year and am making a commitment to do my TV walking. I’ve been trying to use Leslies’ “moves” as I walk, especially the ones that work on minimizing my middle section. I always loose the weight, but the extra stretch-marked skin with that nice little layer of fat is really stubborn. I’m excited to make this TV walking a habit! Baby #4 inspired me to design Modest Middles. Maybe baby #5 will inspire me to get my abs back…
