Pumping at Work

Oh the joy of pumping....not! Working from home has been wonderful for many reasons, but among them is reducing my need to pump breastmilk. I still pump so that I have a supply for times I need to  be away and I pumped extensively with my first two kids. I am very thankful for the great pumps and easy storage options out there. I did find, however, some of the same challenges in wardrobe pumping as I do in nursing in public in general. I tried the Glamour Mom type tank tops with the built in bras, but needed more support and ended up wearing my nursing bra underneath them. This "solution" was more supportive, but a hassle since I had to undo my top shirt, then the Glamour Mom tank clips and then my bra clips to access my breast for pumping. The tanks also looked lumpy under my shirt. This experience was a major inspiration for me to invent Modest Middles. The fabric I chose stays in place, lays flat, under any shirt. People can't tell you're even wearing it. The U-Shaped front is the key though. I wear the bra that fits and I don't have to unlock Fort Knox to access my breast to pump. I know if you try a Modest Middle for pumping at the office you'll love it! It will keep you a little more discrete and a lot more comfortable!
