Cheap and Easy Meals with 5 Ingredients for the Family on the Go

For awhile now I've been in the quick and easy mode for dinner. Two of my kids are in school and it seems that with each school year things get a bit busier. I've been collecting recipes that are healthy, but inexpensive and quick. If I don't have a plan for dinner by the time I leave to pick the kids up from school, it's often a fast, unhealthy or expensive dinner out. I love the Campbell's Soup recipes. They are made for moms like me that have basic ingredients around, want to make a healthy meal and need it quick. Being that Modest Middles is a home-based business, I can do the prep right before I pick up the kids and pop it in the oven when we get home from the various after-school activities. Eating at home has saved us a significant amount of money. Phil and I are bargain hunters, but with four hungry kiddos, it's hard to get out of a restaurant on the cheap. When we do go out (1-2x/week) we use the internet to find kids eat free restaurants in our area. Lately we've seen more restaurants (like Denny's) offering 2 free kids meals with the purchase of each adult meal. A little research goes a long way to stretching the budget!
