Today would be aptly named Frantic Friday as opposed to Family Fun Friday. The kids have birthday parties, school, baseball practice, etc. I am definitely in nesting mode with 3 days left until my due date. I've crossed all the big items (reorganizing the guest bedroom, washing all the baby clothes, etc.) from my to do list, but I have lots of nervous energy waiting for our new daughter to arrive. She continues to prefer the head up position, so I'm thinking she'll be staying in past her due date. I guess she'll let me know when she's ready (amazing how they can exert themselves and their agenda so soon). Anyhow, I am desperately trying to keep the house picked up. My friend Carolyn told me about an organization website called Fly Lady . I love it! It really helps me stay focused on a task and and avoid feeling completely overwhelmed by cleaning up after a family soon to be 7. I decided that this weekend we are going to have a cleaning olympics. The kids get to participate in the events listed below and I bought some candy coins in bronze, silver and gold for the medals. I figure it will get my need to clean satisfied and keep me from using the TV as a babysitter while I tidy up.
