I've received the nursing bras I ordered online and I have to say I was disappointed. I was really looking forward to getting a good fit. I like the styles with underwires which I know get a bad wrap, but I love them for comfort (I've never had a problem with them re: breast infections, etc.). In fact, the soft cups that everyone is pushing are really uncomfortable to me. The band along the bottom seems to fold/bend and irritates my skin. I'm so tired of spending $40-60 on a bra that doesn't fit right. Yesterday, after multiple stops at stores carrying nursing bras I decided that I was going to take matters into my own hands. I am currently waiting on the Medela Seamless Underwire nursing bra in my size (evidently Medela has had some change in their products that has caused some sizes to be on back order) and in the mean time I went to Walmart and bought one nursing bra ($12) that is the correct cup size, but too big in the band and one normal underwire bra that is the correct cup size and band size. I am modifying the ban d on the nursing bra to fit me and modifying the top of the cup on the other bra to have a clasp. It is a desperate act, but I want to be comfortable! I am putting my hopes in Medela....any other suggestions would be welcome!
