Yesterday (Thursday) was crazy day! We left the house at 7:30am and didn't get home until 6:30pm...not fun with all 5 kiddos (luckily 2 were in school most of the day). The kids were actually pretty good. We brought books and crayons and even used the DVD player in the car by the end of the day. Maeve was the best 2 week old baby ever! She nursed and slept and even let some friends hold her. My Modest Middle came in extremely handy since I was nursing in public all day. I really had to plan snacks and lunch to avoid the drive through and keep the budget in check. My favorite quick and healthy (inexpensive too) is the large bags of pre cut apples in the fruit section of the deli case. My kids eat them like they are candy.
