Friday was a crazy day in our house. It ended up being a "stuck in the car too much" kind of day. With 5 kids, all the seats are taken and most with car seats to boot. We keep the peace with strategic assigned seating. Tommy (8) and Annie (6) are separated by Jillian (2) and her huge car seat to prevent the he said/she said game. Well, Jillian has learned quickly. She hit Tommy. Phil told her to say "Sorry Tommy". Jillian is very verbal, but also very stubborn. She repeatedly refused to say she was sorry by pouting and averting her eyes. On the third request, Phil had pulled over the car and turned around and said, "Jillian, we will not move this car until you say sorry to Tommy."
