Binky, Fingersucking...What did your baby do?
Pacifiers, binkies, whatever you might call them...Do you use them? How about babies who are finger suckers....did they stop on their own?
My kids were never big on binkies. They used them more as objects to throw than suck on. #5, Maeve, she is our first finger sucker. We'll see how that goes. As a speech-language pathologist I'm thinking get those fingers out of her mouth before she changes the shape of her palate and moves her teeth!, but as a mom I'm a little more chilled about it. The more verbal she is getting the less I'm seeing the fingers insert =)
