As I sit breastfeeding my 5th baby, I can't tell you how many times I've heard moms, friends of mine and moms on Modest Middles blogs, Facebook, etc. chat about how their baby prefers one breast over the other. I always wondered why that is. In my own case, it seemed more that I was likely to put my baby to a particular side based on what I was trying to do while nursing--with 5 kids it's a requirement to multi-task=).
